Social and Emotional Learning

At Charles Conder we strongly believe that understanding a child's social and emotional capacity on a daily basis provides an avenue to build their academic learning. It is paramount that we work in partnership we parents and wider family to support the ongoing well-being of each individual student.

At Charles Conder we are a Trauma Informed school and have developed many whole school practices to support the social and emotional development of all students. We are a PBL (Positive Behaviours for Learning) school whereby all community members have the right and responsibility to learn in a safe and respectful learning environment.

The Well-being of all stakeholders is a key priority in our strategic plan and we place a huge focus on this strategically and operationally each day.

All classes utilise a range of strategies and procedures to develop all students social and emotional capacity in a friendly environment that foster our PBL Expectations, Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be a Learner and School Values of Respect, Honesty, Cooperation, Diversity and Support.
