The Lanyon Cluster of Schools is a group of five schools and four preschools, located in the southern part of Tuggeranong:

These schools work together to implement a range of projects aiming to enhance student outcomes through improvements to teaching and learning programs and enhanced pedagogy. Following is a representation of the Lanyon Cluster Teaching and Learning model, which incorporates a framework for quality teaching and learning, a structure for planning for teaching and learning, and a “toolkit” of strategies to ensure student connectedness and a high level of intellectual engagement.

• Success for Boys project (University of Newcastle)
• Curriculum Renewal trial
• Shared professional learning days and staff meetings
• Cluster focus days – Peace Keeper days in 2005-6, Earth Saver in 2007
• Young Writer’s workshops
