In 2008 Tharwa and Conder Preschools amalgamated with the Primary School making Charles Conder Primary School an educational facility that caters for students from Preschool to Year 6.

Programs at CCPS

• Learning Assistance – Specially designed programs to address specific student needs for areas of literacy and numeracy learning.
• Playground Pals – Year 5 and 6 students help younger children with problems they may have on the playground.
• ESL – structured English programs for students from backgrounds where other languages are frequently used.
• Learning Support Centre and Integration Support – Intensive support for students with designated special education needs.
• Schools As Communities – program to build and maintain positive links with the school community.
• Year 5 band - Music program for Year Five students.  
• Sport - The school offers a variety of sports that the students can participate in and represent the school including:
                 Rugby League,
                 Rugby Union,
                 Touch and Oztag.

The school has 2 major carnivals during the year.  These are Cross Country and Athletics.

• Gross Motor - Daily PE occurs in classes with students having skills and games taught during this time.
